- 18th and Potomac is in the lower right of the map above. Way out of the way even to buy a car, we are told. Other people thought that 18th never met Potomac --- they must have been thinking of the other 18th (to the left of the White House in the map).
- The National Cathedral is in the upper left corner of the above map. The State Department is just the left of the White House. One wonders what would presuade the Presidential motorcade to go clear across the city to go to a place so close.
