- We suspect that Sorkin, a known sports fanatic, probably knew the right name of the hockey player and made the change in the first name to avoid 'real world' complications. It is difficult to have a person from 'that world' interacting with a person from this world --- libel suits could arise, a girl friend in 'this world' might get jealous, etc.
