- Special note to US residents:
- Special Equipment would be needed to play these DVDs or videos in the United States! If you are not absolutely sure you can play Region 2 DVD or PAL Video, then you CAN'T! However people in the U.S. with "region free DVD players" are saying the dvds play fine on their players.
Unless you are willing to buy a new region-free DVD player (or unless you have or obtain one of the DVD players that are easy to hack into and do change it) or unless you have tri-standard (or dual-standard or PAL) VHS equipment, it would be a waste of your money to buy either the DVDs or the Videos listed below.
In spite of the fact that we thought it was unlikely that any NTSC / Region 1 (American standard) would be released in the near future as Bravo paid a million an episode to rerun the series starting in August 2003 and we were sure (although there is no official word on this) that their contract precluded having these available in the U.S. for however long they have the rights and that is rumored to be for five years. In spite of all that, there are now credible rumors that a DVD may be in the works for the North American market maybe by the end of 2003. Maybe.
